Wendy Tharp

Chief Troublemaker

Raised by a family of makers, Wendy began sewing and crafting as soon as she had the dexterity to hold a giant plastic needle. Wendy spent many hours each summer with her grandmothers learning how to quilt, crochet, make amazing pom-poms, and generally keep out of trouble through making.

Filled with a love of learning and trying new things, Wendy has worked in early childhood education, real estate, and the beauty industry. She and Brian even owned a melodrama and vaudeville theater where they met Dan, and despite his love of over-pinning, they became fast friends.

When not driving the mom-taxi or performing kitchen-witchery, Wendy can be found in her studio hiding candy from the rest of her family.

Daniel Dye

Chief Enabler

Daniel found his love of sewing at a young age while making costumes with his mom on their foot powered Singer sewing machine, and while cutting up fabrics around the house to make hand stitched doll clothes. His skills were taught to him by Wendy. After she discovered that he could sew a passably straight line, she put him to work on theater costumes, where he learned how to do things "correctly". They've been partners in crime ever since, even if he sometimes refuses to consult the pattern, or insists on over-pinning things.

Daniel is also an experienced digital marketer, ecommerce professional, and photographer. He has managed online stores for brands like Farberware Cookware, Paula Deen Cookware, Rachael Ray Cookware, Cake Boss Bakeware, Potsandpans.com, Lifefactory, Circulon and Anolon. He is the primary photographer for nail artist Chroma Nails, with work featured by Essie, Starbucks, OPI and Olive and June.

Brian Tharp

The Voice of Reason

Mostly Brian just does his best to keep Wendy from murdering Dan, and getting herself thrown in jail.
